Foliage in Park City

Happy October! Welcome to my favorite month of the year. Everything about October is so quintessentially fall to me. The leaves start to change, the weather gets cooler and stays that way (I can finally take my AC out of the window…YES), pumpkin and apple flavored anything, and stores are filled with cute boots and coats. The only thing I’m not into regarding October is Halloween. I’m not really a Halloween costume type of person…especially since in most cities, costumes for girls usually means wearing as little as possible because you know you can get away with it.

Anywho that’s neither here nor there. For the past three years I’ve taken a vacation in October (all coincidences) and for the most part, my trips packed in any fall activity you can imagine. This year is no different! From October 15 until October 20, I’m going on a girls trip with three of my best friends to Park City, Utah. I. Am. So. Excited. First of all, I’ve never been to Utah so you know what that means…I’m crossing another state off my list! If that isn’t exciting enough for you, I found out that Park City is about 1.5 hours from the Wyoming border so my girls and I are going to take a day trip to Evanston, Wyoming! WHATTTTT? Crossing two states off my list in one trip?? *twirls*

Ok now I know I’m being a bit dramatic, but I seriously can’t even begin to explain how excited I am about this. My friends that signed up to come with me are all super chill, down for anything, and outdoorsy and athletic. Our itinerary so far includes hiking, ziplining, a road trip within our trip, a tour of Temple Square to learn about Mormon culture and 90 minute massages. If that doesn’t sound like the perfect vacation, I don’t know what does. We planned ahead to include some physical activity, bonding time, culture, alone time, and relaxation. I’m really happy with how our planning has turned out so far. That said, have you been to Park City or Salt Lake City before? Do you have any recommendations for activities or restaurants we simply cannot miss? We are open to anything!

Leave me a comment below and enjoy some imagery from fall in Park City and Salt Lake City and my favorite things about October. xo
